Coshal Art Ganpati Ji with Mushak :- Lord Ganesha is said to be the God of prosperity and wealth. He is believed to bring good luck, and thus he is worshipped before anything new is started. Keeping an idol of Lord Ganesha regularly wards off negative energy from home and life, while worshipping him before starting something new keeps obstacles out of the path. If pleased, Lord Ganesha brings success, prosperity, and good luck to life. This intricately detailed unique tribal artefact is made in the hands of our tribal artists of Chhattisgarh.

Dhokra making process has several steps:

• Making clay model
• Giving designs of bee-wax on dried clay
• Applying two layers of clay on wax design
• Creating channels for molten brass

The model is heated, then the inner layer of beeswax melts and escapes through the channels, consequently creating a space in between. This, therefore, acts as a mould. Next, hot liquid brass is poured into the mould through the channels. It is allowed to cool until the brass completely solidifies. Then the outer mud layer is broken to obtain a brass model. After some final finishing touches, the exquisite Dhokra art is ready!
