  • Where are your manufacturing facilities located?

    Here’s the thing: Coshal doesn’t operate factory assembly lines or mass-production units. Our core mission is to work directly with village-based master artisans across Chhattisgarh. By collaborating directly with them in their native spaces, we ensure traditional tribal crafts survive while building sustainable livelihoods in rural clusters.

  • Are all Coshal products genuinely handmade?

    Yes, 100%. We work closely with authentic indigenous artisans specializing in Dhokra (lost-wax brass casting), Wrought Iron (Loha craft), and traditional Wood sculpting. Every single piece is shaped by human hands using heritage methodologies.

  • How do I know if my order went through?

    Once your checkout payment is successfully processed, you will see a confirmation screen instantly. We will also shoot a detailed order confirmation breakdown straight to your email.

  • How do I check my order status?

    Just log into your Coshal account and navigate to the My Orders section. We value efficiency, so we aim to pack and dispatch all standard in-stock items from our Raipur warehouse within 2 working days. Once dispatched, you can seamlessly track its journey home via our logistics integration page.

  • Is it safe to use my card on your website?

    Completely. We prioritize your financial data security and do not store any credit card information on our servers. All transactions are securely routed through India’s top certified payment gateways—Razorpay, Cashfree, and PayPal.

  • What happens if an item is out of stock?

    We try our best to keep all listed crafts ready. However, because our pieces are individually handcrafted, unexpected demand can sometimes exceed our immediate supply. If an item you bought goes out of stock, we’ll let you know via email right away and process a full refund to your original payment provider within two business days. We don't believe in trapping your money in complicated back-order systems.

  • Do I need an account to buy from Coshal?

    Not at all. You can easily complete your purchase as a Guest Shopper. However, creating an account helps you track your shipments seamlessly and speeds up future checkouts.

Shipping & Logistics

  • Will I be charged entry taxes or additional interstate duties?

    All domestic orders are packed and shipped directly from our central warehouse in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. Depending on your state’s specific interstate trade regulations, very rarely, localized duties or entry taxes might be assessed upon arrival. If your package incurs these rare charges, our delivery partner will clear the shipment on your behalf, and you can pay the duty directly to the agent at the time of your doorstep delivery.

  • How long does delivery take?

    We usually take up to 2 working days to hand over your package to our premium logistics network. However, if you are ordering in bulk (more than 5 pieces of a single variant) or if the craft is actively resting in the final stages of production at the kiln, it might take a bit longer. If that happens, we will keep you updated transparently via email.

  • How are the orders shipped?

    We ensure absolute safety using door-to-door premium courier networks, relying heavily on reliable delivery networks like Delhivery to safely carry our heavy metalcraft straight to your doorstep.

  • Do you deliver to Post Office Boxes (P.O. Boxes)?

    No, our logistics partners require a complete physical street address, including a landmark and phone number, to execute a secure, authenticated hand-to-hand delivery.

  • What are the shipping costs?

    For all orders shipped within India, Shipping is 100% Free. For international shipments, please reach out to us before checking out, as global freight costs vary by country and package weight.

  • Can I change my shipping address after placing an order?

    If you catch a mistake early, email us at care@coshalart.com immediately. If the package hasn’t left our Raipur warehouse yet, we will happily update it for you. However, once the package is handed over to the courier network, no redirection can be made. Note: You cannot swap a domestic shipping address for an international one post-purchase due to differing global tax structures.

  • What if I receive a damaged or tampered package?

    Don't worry, we've got you covered. Reach out to our customer support within 24 to 48 hours of delivery. To help us resolve the issue swiftly with our transit partners:

    • Please keep the item completely unused.

    • Take clear photos/videos of the outer packaging material and the inner contents.

    • Share a brief description of the issue with us so we can fast-track the internal review.

Returns, Exchanges & Cancellations

    We stand behind the authenticity and quality of our tribal artforms. If you aren’t satisfied with your purchase, you can initiate a return within 7 days of delivery for a full product cost refund.

  • How do I exchange a product?

    The cleanest way to process an exchange is to follow the standard return process for your current item. Once the return is initiated, you can simply place a fresh online order for the new piece you want.

  • Can I cancel or modify an order?

    Once a payment is processed, the order details enter our immediate packing workflow. If you change your mind, hit the Request Cancellation button in your account dashboard within 12 hours of purchase. If the item has already been dispatched, cancellation won't be possible, and standard return windows will apply.
