Here’s the thing: every single piece at Coshal is shaped individually by human hands using traditional tribal methodologies, meaning no two items on this planet are ever identical. Unlike mass-produced factory goods that chase absolute uniformity, handmade art always carries subtle variations in texture, symmetry, and finish. These aren't defects; they are the unique signatures of the master artisans who crafted them.

However, if you are genuinely unhappy with your purchase, we respect your decision and provide a transparent exchange and refund process.

Eligibility Baseline

  • Official Channel Exclusive: This return, exchange, and refund policy applies exclusively to orders placed directly through our official website (coshal.com). Products purchased via physical retail storefronts or third-party online marketplaces are not covered by these provisions.

  • The 7-Day Window: You can request a return or exchange for any full-priced item within 7 days of delivery.

  • Qualifying Criteria: Refunds or exchanges are fully processed once our standard Quality Check confirms a legitimate manufacturing defect, transit damage, or a mismatch with the product description.

  • Damage/Defect Notification: If your package arrives damaged, missing components, or with a clear manufacturing issue, you must notify our team within 48 hours of delivery to validate the claim.

Product Return Conditions:

To successfully process your request, the item(s) must be returned in perfect resalable condition—completely unwashed, unaltered, undamaged, and with all original barcodes and price tags intact. Coshal retains the ultimate authority to evaluate if an item has been handled, washed, or altered post-delivery.

Reverse Pick-Up Policy (Domestic Orders)

We want to keep your experience hassle-free even during returns. Here is how our domestic reverse logistics system works:

  • Secure Packaging: Please ensure the product is packed safely and securely. We cannot process refunds or exchanges for items that get damaged or broken during their return transit due to poor packing.

  • Timeline: Once your reverse pick-up request is approved, our shipping partner will collect the package within 7 business days.

  • Pin Code Feasibility: While we cover most locations, a few remote pin codes are not feasible for reverse pick-up. In such rare cases, the customer will need to self-ship the item back to our central facility.

  • Self-Shipping Baseline: If you are self-shipping a return package and it gets lost in transit by your chosen courier, Coshal will not be liable, and no refund can be issued.

Claiming Your Refund

  • Original Payment Source: For transactions completed via Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, Razorpay, Cashfree, or PayPal, the refund will be credited directly back to the original mode of payment used during checkout.

  • Banking Timelines: Once we successfully initiate the refund from our dashboard, banks typically take 4 to 5 business days to process and reflect the credit on your statement.

  • Exchange Dispatches: In the case of an approved exchange request, your newly selected replacement piece will be packed and dispatched within 3 to 5 business days after we receive and check your original return shipment.

International Orders & Shipments

  • No Reverse Pick-up: We do not offer reverse pick-up facilities for orders shipped outside India. For all international locations, any authorized returns must be self-shipped by the customer back to the original warehouse invoice address.

  • Strict Non-Refund Scenarios: No refunds, credits, or exchanges will be entertained for international shipments if:

    • An incorrect, incomplete, or outdated shipping address was provided during checkout.

    • The courier network makes 3 failed delivery attempts at the destination.

    • The package is directly refused by the recipient at the border or doorstep.
